Delili smo ga le z dvema avtodomoma francoskih tablic in avtom, ki smo ga opazili šele naslednji dan – slovenci so spali le nekaj ovinkov pod nami. 🙂

2360 meters high Col d’Izoard pass is a true icon of the French Alps, and especially Tour de France cycling race. Well, we learned that when we were watching Tour de France race at our home. We decided to go there just because it was so close to Col Agnel, where we slept the night before and because we saw couple of nice photos on internet on our way to France. Different stages of Tour de France were taking place here many times from 1922 and probably also because of that its a true magnet for all kind of cyclists. But you don’t need to be a cyclist to enjoy it. There are amazing vistas all around you and so many opportunities for amazing hikes. When we returned to the pass after great hike to nearby lake, we had it almost just for ourselves. There were just 2 campervans with french licence plates nearby and one car couple of bends bellow us. We noticed it when we left – there were Slovenians of course. 🙂
