In ko sem zjutraj prvi zapustil topel kombi in se čez močvaro počasi podal do obale jezera, sem imel grad čisto zase. No, delil sem ga le z nadebudnimi lokalnimi ribiči, ki so s pomočjo viskija uspešno preživeli še eno precej mrzlo škotsko jesensko noč. 🙂

Best time to visit Scotland is definitely autumn. Tourists already left the country, midges as well, you have attractions practically for yourself and when I think about all that autumn colours – well you can not beat that. 🙂 We arrived to Kilchurn castle late in the afternoon, when the sky was full of stormy clouds. But till the end of the day the weather changed several times – first rain, then clouds, fog and at the end of the day finally the sun arrived. We spend the night at the location with a million dollar view. And when I woke up early in the morning and left the warm campervan behind me, I had the castle just for myself. Well, I shared it with a local fishermen, who survived another Scottish cold autumn night with a help of local whiskey. 🙂
