Z mondenega otoka Skye v divjino severne Škotske

Dobesedno. Noč smo prespali ob zvokih podivjanega morja nekaj metrov pod nami.

* * *

It was hard to say goodbye to the Isle of Skye. Especially because everything was so perfect – the weather was great, we enjoyed in some really great hikes, the food was phenomenal and we slept on some really unforgettable places. After the last short hike to the ruins of an old Scottish house we crossed the bridge and headed into the unknown. Literally. Because there were almost no preparations for this part of the trip. Immediately after crossing the bridge the weather changed dramatically.  It was changing every minute and when we crossed the Applecross pass in late afternoon, it was getting worst and worst. Almost in pitch dark we finally found a perfect spot for that night. The weather next day was similar – windy, rainy and really cold. And we got that crazy feeling that true winter is coming fast.  We slowly drove to the north. Roads were narrow and even though the landscape was truly spectacular we were exhausted. The next night we slept just couple of meters from the roaring sea.
