Its exactly 1,840 kilometers from our house to the “Le Phare du Petit Minou” lighthouse, on the coast not far away from town Brest. Brittany, this magical landscape at the end of Europe, is literally full of mighty lighthouses, and without any special planning you can find a few dozen of them while on a road trip. We were traveling around the “Le Phare du Petit Minou” lighthouse, “Pointe Saint Mathieu” and “Pointe de Kermorvan” lighthouse when the french weather service issued a red alarm because of the weather storm, that was approaching Europe from the middle of Atlantic. And if the idea of photographing lighthouses in the middle of the storm was OK at the beginning, it quickly turned out, that it’s a mission impossible. 🙂
