Bukumirsko jezero in Biogradsko jezero, Črna gora

Prvi naš cilj je bilo Bukumirsko jezero, 1400 in nekaj metrov visoko jezero, do katere pelje, vsaj zadnjih nekaj kilometrov, grozljivo slab kolovoz. Njamsi. 🙂 No, Jaka je dobil še lekcijo dela na kmetiji. 🙂 Naslednjo jutro smo na hitro skočili še do precej obiskanega Biogradskega jezera, potem pa zavili proti severu, proti čarobnemu Durmitorju.

* * *

With a bag full of Skadar vegetables, we moved on. 🙂 We turned north, first towards rainy Podgorica, then along kilometers and kilometers of construction sites of the new Montenegro highway being built by the Chinese, all the way to our next destination, Bukumirsko Lake. That good hour of travel after leaving Podgorica, we felt like we were driving somewhere in China. Lots of Chinese signs and small settlements for thousands and thousands of Chinese workers. In our time, everything was empty because of the corona virus. Our first destination was Lake Bukumir, a 1,400-meter-high lake, and because the road was in horrible condition we didnt know till the last meters if we are going to make it. We reached the lake in rainy weather, but fortunately nature gave us those few minutes without rain to explore the area. The scenery was fantastic but since the weather forecast was really bad, we gave up the thought of sleeping by the lake and decided to head on. That evening we found one nice family camp Gradina not far from Lake Biograd, with super firenldy owners. We had a chance to taste a fresh home made cheese and Jaka got a short training on a farm work. 🙂 The next morning we quickly stoped on the well-visited Lake Biograd, and then turned north, towards the magical Durmitor.
