Ja, cene nekaterih parkirišč so res brutalne. A z nekaj planiranja in kakšnim dodatnim krogom vožnje, smo tiste 3 dni vedno parkirali skoraj za drobiž. Podnevi blizu glavnih atrakcij (vse na dosegu krajšega sprehoda), ponoči kakšen kilometer stran, mogoče ob parku, v bližini onsena… In kaj pametnega naj napišem o mestu Kyotu? 🙂 🙂

After almost a year, it’s time again for some unpublished material from out road trip aroundJapan. 🙂 The only thing that worried me during our road trip by a campervan in Japan was how we would “handle” big cities. Tokyo was scary at first because of its size and its crowds. But when we found out that you can drive almost the entire length of the city on the highway under the city, everything was piece of cake. Kyoto on the other hand was if you compare it to Tokyo like a small dwarf. But according to some stories, it can be a nightmare to travel there by your own car. Its crowded and parking fees are super high. But when we arrived to Kyoto we realised that if you plan a little bit and explore the area, you can easily find a place to park for a bargain. So, during the day we always found the places close the the main attractions and during the night it was easy to find a quite place, close to an Onsen. And what can I write about Kyoto? Almost everyone knows that its a special place. A city of beautiful temples, a place of great cuisine, a city full of energy. But in our case, it’s also a town, where we first lost our car keys on our travels – a fun thing that I hope we don’t repeat again. 🙂 🙂
