Tagong or Lhagang, 3900 meters above sea level, was our first destination on our journey on the Tibetan plateau. Town, full of dust and in our time with not very pleasant weather and temperatures, offers a lot of things even for spoiled travelers. There are couple of hotels and places where you can eat but they are all very basic. Our small guesthouse was lovely at the first sight, but it had one issue. There were windows but unfortunately without glass – only some linen on them that were primarily just for decoration. And because of that it was freezing in our room at night. First two days the weather was OK, but on the third we got extremely low temperatures and fresh snow. And because Ana was ill, me and Jaka had to explore this tiny town on our own. 🙂
